We would like to inform you that the Malian Customs Authority has issued an official notice regarding the BESC certificate requirement.
We kindly remind everyone to ensure that ECTNs are obtained at the port of loading before shipment. Shipments arriving in Mali without a valid BESC may be subject to penalties and will still require to obtain the BESC, which will cause clearance delays.
