All freights heading towards the Republic of Guinea should have Guinea ECTN. This requirement started following the ministerial decree N° D/2011/305/PRG/SGG. Getting an ICTN (International Cargo Tracking Code) and making ACD declaration is required. You can get your ICTN number from SCK Agency.

What is required to apply for Guinea ECTN?

The following documents are required for issuing an ECTN number:

  • Bill of lading
  • Invoice
  • Freight invoice
  • Export declaration
  • Phone number, e-mail address and NIF – Número de identificación fiscal of the consignee
  • Phone number, e-mail address and NIF – Número de identificación fiscal of the notify party
  • Phone number and e-mail address of the sender

We recommend you make sure that the ICTN number is mentioned on the bill of lading.

How long does it take for the ICTN number to be issued?

As the approvals of ENS numbers are managed in the port office in Conakry, the process may take about a week. Please contact us to let your importer securely clear the cargo, and to avoid any demurrage or penalties at the port of destination.
