Mandatory ACD Certificate Documents Update

Dear Valued Business Partner,

Please be advised that the Sudan Customs Authority has issued an update regarding the documentation required for Advance Cargo Declaration (ACD) applications for shipments destined for Sudan.

As per the latest update, the Certificate of Origin has been added as a mandatory document, in addition to the documents already required.

The complete set of documents required for ACD applications is now as follows:

• Draft Bill of Lading
• Commercial Invoice
• Freight Invoice
• Certificate of Origin

Kindly note that ACD certification will be mandatory for all shipments to Sudan as of 1 January 2026. All parties are requested to ensure full compliance to avoid shipment delays or non-acceptance.
