Effective March 1, 2025, importers must obtain an insurance policy from a company established in Guinea. The insurance certificate must be uploaded when creating the Virtual Transaction File (DVT) on the Guinea Single Window for Trade (GUCEG) portal.

While ensuring compliance with this regulation is not within our scope, we take this opportunity to remind all operators that the BESC certificate remains mandatory for shipments to Guinea.
