To ensure a smooth process, please initiate the procedure as soon as the BL is obtained. Below are the required details for the aforementioned documents, along with other critical notes.

Bill of Lading

For LCL shipment applications with the House BL (HBL), the Master BL (MBL) might also be required if deemed necessary.

Commercial Invoice

  • The invoice must be issued to the final consignee in the destination country.
  • The Incoterm must be clearly stated and the value breakdown must correspond properly.

Example: If the incoterm is CFR, the following values should be clearly indicated: FOB, freight.

Freight Invoice

A separate Freight Invoice is required if the freight value is not indicated in the Commercial Invoice.

Import Declaration

The Importer has to provide this document. Cars and personal effects are exempted from Import declaration. Transaction ID cannot be changed after validation.

Critical notes:

  • An application form must be completed to initiate the certification process. You may either complete the form yourself using this link, or our team can complete it out on your behalf for a service fee.
  • Any amendments to a validated certificate will incur an amendment fee.
  • For non-containerized (RoRo, general cargo or bulk) shipment tariff, please contact our support team.
  • Phone number and email address of the shipper and the consignee, ETD-ETA dates must be provided.
  • Consignee must be registered in the system, taxpayer number and contact information must be presented in the commercial invoice.
  • If the consignee is already registered in the system, their information can only be modified by authority. Necessary documentation will be required.
  • If the consignee is not registered, relevant information and documents will be asked from our support team for the registration process.
  • The Cameroon ECTN certificate must be validated at least 48 hours before the vessel’s arrival, and the ETA must be stated correctly on the document. Inaccurate date or late submissions will result in a penalty fee.
