Mandatory ACD Certificate Documents Update

Dear Valued Business Partner,

Please be advised that the Sudan Ports Corporation has issued a further update regarding the documentation required for Advance Cargo Declaration (ACD) applications for shipments destined for Sudan.

As per the latest update, the Packing List has been added as a mandatory document, in addition to the documents already required.

The complete set of documents required for ACD applications is now as follows:

  • Draft Bill of Lading
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Freight Invoice
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Packing List

Kindly note that ACD certification will be mandatory for all shipments to Sudan as of 1 January 2026. All parties are requested to ensure full compliance with the updated documentation requirements to avoid delays.
